Jenna Van Ooyen
Registered Dental Hygienist
Jenna is originally from Ft. Wayne, IN. She is a proud graduate of Indiana University but has been slowly transforming into a true Buckeye. She is CPR-trained and licensed in local anesthesia; she also takes continuing education courses on a yearly basis in order to stay up-to-date with the dental field’s latest developments. She loves all the great people she gets to meet through her job! She is a very gentle and thorough hygienist and works hard to help patients not only identify dental problems early, but also be proactive about stopping them before damage occurs.
Outside of work, Jenna spends lots of free time with her husband Chris and her two dogs Baxter and Chewy. She also really enjoys traveling! She’s actually ambidextrous.
Certified Dental Assistant
Jodie graduated from Choffin School of Accredited Dental Assisting in 2001 and then joined our dental office in 2004. She enjoys assisting our doctors with many procedures and also is responsible for tasks like pouring models, fabricating bleach trays, sterilizing equipment, and developing X-rays. She is certified in radiology and CPR and really enjoys not only meeting new patients, but getting to know longtime patients over so many years through her position.
Jodie is from Austintown, and her family consists of her husband, her son, her daughter, and two beloved dogs. When she isn’t busy at the dental office, she enjoys entertaining friends at home, exercising, and cooking. She also loves Ohio State football!
Dental Insurance Coordinator
Although Keri is a relatively new addition to our team, she has 25 years of experience in the field of dentistry, including 21 years as a dental assistant. Throughout that time, she has always loved interacting with patients, and she’d love to help you navigate your insurance benefits and make your smile’s care as affordable as possible!
Keri is originally from Washington Court House, OH. She’s very close with her family and enjoys being active in the lives of her nieces and nephews. At home, she has two dogs, both Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua mixes. Other than dentistry, Keri’s hobbies include visiting the Columbus zoo, vacationing in Florida, cooking, being involved in a bowling league, playing baseball, biking, and spending time in the great outdoors.
Certified Dental Assistant
Kathy has been a dental assistant since 1982 and has been with the dental office since 1989. Over the years, she has enjoyed the opportunity to truly build relationships with our patients. In fact, she has the unique ability to put the patients at ease and dispel the notion that a visit to the dentist is tedious or scary. Kathy’s job involves taking X-rays and impressions, assisting the dentist, and making our patients’ visits as enjoyable as possible.
Kathy says: “The quality of dentistry that we do is great—our patients deserve the best and that’s what they get! I love working with people and making them feel comfortable when they are apprehensive.”
Fun fact about Kathy: “I love camping. People think I’m too ‘frilly’ to camp, but I love to hike, cook over the campfire, and sleep in a tent.”
Dental Practice Manager
Katie attended Cleveland State University, and her passion for dentistry and people has kept her working in this field since 2001. She ensures that our patients are able to maximize their dental insurance benefits and also achieve the smile they’ve always wanted! She has a special knack for helping make each visit as comfortable and rewarding as possible. Whether she’s scheduling treatment that’s compatible with busy schedules or sitting down one-on-one to go over treatment plans, she prides herself on being a valuable resource. “In the time I have been with the dental office, the staff and patients have me feel like one of the family,” she says. “I couldn’t have picked a better group of people to work with!”
Originally from Fairview Park, Katie and her husband Nathan have a son named Gabriel, a daughter named Noelle, and a dog named Rocco. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with loved ones, traveling, and baking.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Lynn received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from The Ohio State University in 1997 and has been with the dental office ever since. In addition to her role as a hygienist, she plays an integral part in the administrative aspects of the dental office including welcoming new patients, coordinating insurance benefits and making financial arrangements. Lynn lives in Dublin with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and cooking.
